The Federal Government of Germany has issued new rules about travellers coming back or travelling to Germany:

Starting from 15 September travellers not coming from risk zones will not have the possibility to be tested for free anymore.

Starting from the first of October travellers arriving in Germany from risk zones have the obligation of a 14-days quarantine. A way to shorten it, although no more required by the law, is to take a test and give proof of its negativity. BUT this cannot be made before 5 days from the moment of arrival.

To penalise those who decide to travel to risk zones the German state has moreover announced that there will be no compensation for lost revenue during the quarantine period.
